IL SB3403

Amends Section 11-406 of the Illinois Vehicle Code regarding the duty to report accidents.

Makes a technical change by correcting the article "The" in subsection (a) concerning drivers involved in accidents.

Maintains existing requirements for drivers to report accidents resulting in injury, death, or property damage exceeding $1,500 (or $500 for uninsured vehicles) within 10 days to the Administrator.

Preserves requirements for school bus accident reporting to the Department of Transportation and allows combined reporting on a single form when both subsection (a) and (b) requirements apply.

Continues provisions allowing the Administrator to require supplemental reports and authorizing license suspension for drivers who fail to report required accidents.
