IL SB3405

Creates the Local Official Vacancy Posting Act requiring units of local government to post every elected official vacancy on their website if they maintain one.

Requires postings to remain on the website until the vacancy is filled.

Mandates units of local government submit vacancy information to the county clerk, who must post it on the county website until filled.

Requires units of local government to notify the county clerk when a vacancy is filled.

Prohibits home rule units from regulating elected official vacancy postings in a manner inconsistent with this Act.
