Amends the Mechanics Lien Act to include subcontractors (in addition to contractors) in lien enforcement provisions, requiring either a lawsuit or recorded claim for lien within 4 months after completion of all work under the contractor's contract with the owner.

Clarifies that the 4-month deadline applies to completion of all work including extra or additional work, rather than allowing separate deadlines for extra work completion.

Changes subcontractor notice requirement from 90 days after completion of work "thereof" to 90 days after completion of work under the contractor's contract with the owner, aligning the notice deadline with the main lien deadline.

Protects parties from admission of subcontractor status based on notice service, allowing parties to claim they actually contracted directly with the owner rather than as a subcontractor.
