Amends the Code of Civil Procedure sections 6-130 and 6-137 regarding ejectment actions and damages for rents and profits.

Entitles plaintiffs recovering judgment in ejectment to recover damages equal to either the profits received by the defendant or the profits lost by the plaintiff.

Allows a jury in ejectment actions to assess damages for mesne profits (lost rents) based on profits either received by the defendant or lost by the plaintiff since the defendant entered possession of the premises.

Changes pronoun reference from "he or she" to "the defendant" for clarity in describing when possession began.
