Requires all Medicaid managed care organizations (MCOs) to reimburse pharmacy providers for dispensing fees and drug acquisition costs at rates no less than those established under the state's fee-for-service Medicaid program

Applies whether the MCO reimburses pharmacies directly or contracts with a pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) to handle pharmacy reimbursements

Covers all pharmacy services for persons receiving Medicaid benefits, including services reimbursed under Section 5-36 of the Illinois Public Aid Code

Amends Section 5-5.12 (Pharmacy payments) and Section 5-36 (Pharmacy benefits) of the Illinois Public Aid Code

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
