Replaces DCFS "Error Reduction Implementation Plans" with "Error Reduction Training" to address patterns of errors or problematic practices that threaten child safety, as identified through Inspector General investigations, Child Death Review Teams, or the Department Director

Requires the Inspector General's Office to develop curricula for both classroom and web-based trainings that strengthen critical thinking, decision-making, interviewing, analytical, and problem-solving skills, using the Child Protection Training Academy simulation model

Assigns the Division of Quality Enhancement to identify outcome measures, track compliance, and prepare quarterly internal reports on training adherence and staffing needs

Mandates semi-annual public reports (changed from annual) detailing training substance, deviations from training models, staff availability, barriers to implementation, and recommendations for additional reforms

Requires the Director to meet at minimum semi-annually with Quality Enhancement, OIG, and management staff to review reports and adjust training content as needed
