Members of the General Assembly taking office on or after the effective date cannot register as lobbyists or engage in lobbying with General Assembly members for 2 years following the end of their most recent term of office.

Legislative branch employees earning compensation exceeding 60% of the Governor's salary cannot register as lobbyists or engage in lobbying with General Assembly members for 1 year after employment termination.

General Assembly members and their spouses/immediate family members cannot hold ownership interests (other than passive interests in publicly traded companies) in gaming licenses or cannabis businesses during their term and for 2 years after leaving office, with existing holders required to divest within 1 year.

State employees working for gaming or cannabis regulatory agencies who participated in license awards cannot hold ownership interests in gaming or cannabis licenses during employment and for 2 years after termination.

The Act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
