Amends Section 22 of the Environmental Protection Act (415 ILCS 5/22) to make a technical correction by removing a duplicate word "the" in the regulatory authority section.

Maintains the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency Board's authority to adopt regulations promoting the purposes of Title VII of the Act, including standards for refuse collection, hazardous waste handling, and disposal facilities.

Preserves existing regulatory requirements for record-keeping, data reporting, equipment monitoring, and alert standards related to land pollution emergencies and hazardous waste disposal sites.

Retains provisions allowing the Board to prohibit disposal of certain hazardous wastes in sanitary landfills when long-term public health and environmental impacts warrant alternatives, provided economically reasonable and technically feasible options are available.
