Reduces the maximum combined income from disability benefits and employment compensation for Chicago police officers from 150% to 125% of their regular salary, applying to all officers receiving disability benefits on or after the effective date.

Requires police officers granted disability benefits to submit copies of their federal and state tax returns within 30 days of filing; refusal to provide tax returns terminates the right to disability benefits.

Establishes an affirmative obligation for disabled officers to inform the pension fund if they receive a medical opinion that they are no longer disabled; benefits cease and the officer returns to active service when disability ends.

Removes a temporary limitation that previously restricted disability benefit reductions to certain time periods, making the employment compensation offset permanent.
