SB3668 Summary: Immunizations

• Eliminates religious exemptions from vaccination requirements for school children, college students, and child care facilities, while retaining medical exemptions based on ACIP-defined contraindications.

• Allows minors age 14 and older to consent to immunizations without parental permission for diseases including polio, measles, mumps, HPV, meningococcal disease, and influenza.

• Changes immunization data registry requirements from "may" to "shall" provide data for patients under age 14 (previously 18), unless an exemption form is filed.

• Removes language from adoption law that protected parents from neglect/abuse findings solely due to vaccine refusal on religious grounds, leaving only medical grounds protection.

• Repeals the Mercury-Free Vaccination Act and takes effect July 1, 2022.
