Amends Section 100-15 of the Township Code to restrict group insurance benefits provided to employees and officials.

Prohibits township boards from providing group life, health, accident, hospital, or dental insurance to spouses of employees or officials, effective upon passage of the amendatory act.

Prohibits township boards from providing such insurance coverage after an employee's employment ends or an official's term of office expires.

Creates exceptions for contracts existing on the effective date of the amendment and for requirements mandated by federal law.

Allows continued coverage for employees, officials, and their dependents, with township boards able to pay all or part of premiums for active employees and officials, but not for retired officials and their dependents.
