Amends Section 9-2 of the Liquor Control Act of 1934 to make a technical change regarding referenda on retail sales of alcoholic liquor.

Removes duplicate language by striking one instance of the word "the" in the section describing when legal voters in municipalities over 200,000 inhabitants can petition for a referendum on prohibiting alcoholic liquor sales.

The change clarifies reference to "the last preceding Federal census" when determining municipality population thresholds for petition and referendum procedures.
