IL SB3779

Amends the Removal of Private Compromising Images Act (735 ILCS 115/10) to expand the definition of posting private compromising images.

Adds a new category prohibiting dissemination of private compromising images that were taken with the consent of the person depicted, but where the person did not consent to the dissemination of the image.

Maintains existing prohibitions against posting intimate images of adults (age 18+) that were taken without knowledge or consent, where the person posting knows or should know consent was not given.

Maintains existing prohibition against website owners or operators allowing such images to be posted or failing to remove them upon discovery.
