IL SB3834

Requires all licensees regulated by the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation to complete sexual harassment prevention training prior to license renewal

Training may be obtained from the licensee's employer, the Department of Human Rights, or any authorized continuing education provider in accordance with the Illinois Human Rights Act

Removes the previous requirement that one hour of sexual harassment prevention training be included in continuing education hours for license renewals after January 1, 2020

Prohibits the Department from refusing to renew a license if the licensee does not complete the training requirements

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
