Appropriates $100,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for fiscal year ending June 30, 2021.

Funds designated for recruiting and retaining faculty at the Urbana-Champaign campus in eight colleges: Grainger College of Engineering, Carle Illinois College of Medicine, College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (natural science and mathematics fields), Gies College of Business, College of Law, College of Veterinary Medicine, and College of Applied Health Sciences.

Authorized uses include supplementing the University of Illinois Distinguished Faculty Recruitment Program, competitive faculty salaries, equipment costs, graduate student support, facility renovations, and research and teaching expenses.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
