Creates the Illinois Future of Work Task Force to assess emerging technologies and their impact on employment, wages, and skill requirements in the state.

Task Force shall develop job standards and working conditions to build a vibrant middle class, identify future jobs, and propose workforce development and apprenticeship programs.

Task Force membership includes 16 legislators (4 from each caucus), 6 Governor-appointed members representing business, labor, education, and workers' rights expertise, plus directors of Labor, Commerce and Economic Opportunity, Employment Security, and State Board of Education.

Task Force must hold 9 monthly meetings beginning within 30 days of finalized appointments (deadline January 31, 2021) and submit final report to Governor and General Assembly by November 1, 2021, then dissolves.

Act takes effect immediately and is automatically repealed on January 1, 2023; members serve without compensation and Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity provides administrative support.
