Creates an Elder Abuse Task Force to investigate the effectiveness of current elder protective services and laws, examine prosecution barriers, and increase public awareness of elder abuse.

Task Force shall consist of 21 members including legislative leaders, representatives from state departments (Aging, Healthcare and Family Services, Public Health, Financial and Professional Regulation), Attorney General, law enforcement, legal services organizations, and nursing home advocates, with appointments required within 60 days.

Task Force members receive no compensation and shall select their own Chairperson, with the Department on Aging providing administrative support.

Task Force must hold at least four meetings with the first meeting within 30 days of finalized appointments, and must report findings and recommendations to the Governor and General Assembly no later than January 1, 2021.

Task Force is dissolved upon filing its report.
