Affirms Illinois Senate support for the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the Medicaid program in response to a federal court ruling that declared the ACA unconstitutional

Identifies 5 million Illinoisans with pre-existing conditions, 2 million Medicare enrollees, and 3.2 million Medicaid enrollees who would be threatened by ACA repeal

Notes that over 650,000 people could lose Medicaid coverage and over 280,000 would lose marketplace tax credit subsidies if the ACA is struck down

Warns that ACA repeal would eliminate consumer protections including essential health benefits, prohibitions on gender and age-based rate discrimination, preventive care coverage, and provisions allowing young adults to stay on parents' plans

Directs delivery of copies of the resolution to the President, U.S. Senate and House leadership, and all members of the Illinois Congressional Delegation
