Declares March 2020 as "Illinois Whole Child Month" to recognize the importance of ensuring each student is challenged, supported, healthy, safe, and engaged.

Urges parents, educators, and community members to support a whole child approach to education that addresses students' comprehensive needs through shared responsibility of families, schools, and communities.

Requests every school in Illinois to celebrate Whole Child Month by adopting and promoting at least one whole child tenet during the month.

Cites educational performance data: 86% high school graduation rate, 35% of 11th graders meeting math standards, 37% meeting English/Language Arts standards, 49% proficient in science, and only 73% of high school seniors enrolling in college within 12 months of graduation.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the Illinois Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
