Dynamic message signs on Illinois interstates and tollways can be utilized during advisories through partnerships with the Illinois Department of Transportation and Illinois Tollway Authority when a missing person is driving a vehicle.

Of 121 Silver Alerts issued since the program's creation, all but one person has been found.

Senate urges county authorities throughout Illinois to utilize the Silver Search program more frequently.
