Declares May 20, 2020 as "Marvin Perzee County Fair Day" in Illinois to honor his 54 years of service to the Iroquois County Fair and county fair community.

Marvin Perzee joined the Iroquois County Agricultural & 4-H Fairs Association in 1965 at age 22, served as president beginning in 1973, and was instrumental in advocating for farmer and agricultural issues.

Served as chairman of the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs' legislative committee for 40 years beginning in 1979 and held various leadership positions including Northern District vice president (1979) and president (1982-1983).

Held multiple state-level roles including membership on the Division of Fairs and Horse Racing advisory board (1983-1984), Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs director (1984-1989), and State Fair Advisory Board member (1990-1998).

Received numerous agricultural honors including FFA American Farmer Degree (1963), Outstanding Young Farmer Award (1973), Prairie Farmer's Master Farmer Award (1999), and induction into University of Illinois 4-H Hall of Fame (2007).
