Gerald "Jerry" Braughton of Rock Island passed away on June 2, 2020

Born August 29, 1945 in Taylorville; graduated from Western Illinois University and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War

Worked at Rock Island Arsenal in Quality Control and previously at Navistar; was a member of Church of Peace in Rock Island and Trio Lodge No. 57

Survived by his wife Emilie (married April 18, 1970) and daughters Amy Braughton and Beth Braughton

Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his family and directs a copy of the resolution be presented to the Braughton family
