Senate Resolution honoring Dwain "Chris" Christofferson of Moline, who passed away on May 19, 2020

Christofferson was born October 23, 1924, graduated from Moline High School, attended University of Illinois Extension Center, and served in U.S. Army during WWII where he was wounded in the Battle of the Bulge

Held supervisory positions at Deere Plow-Planter Works and served as president and treasurer of Deere & Co. Credit Union and first elected president of merged Plow & Planter Credit Unions

Active community member including charter member of Moline Second Alarmers (1952-1992), member of Moline Rotary Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and original chairman of Moline Riverfest (1983-1986)

Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his surviving wife Irene, three children, three grandchildren, and other family members
