Gary M. Wilson of Moline passed away on May 13, 2020, at age 80.

Wilson was born March 30, 1940, in Rock Island to John and Esther (Galusha) Wilson and was a United States Air Force Veteran.

Worked for Rock Island Lines, Steel Company, and held various positions in landscaping and greenhouses, with his final role at the Rock Island Botanical Center.

Enjoyed gardening and writing poetry; preceded in death by five brothers (Theodore, Patrick, Ronald, Gerald, and Derald).

Illinois Senate mourns his passing and extends condolences to his four children (Cheryl, Winifred, Johanna, and John), grandchildren, and surviving siblings.
