Jack L. Burlison of Elwood passed away on May 15, 2020; he was born on May 30, 1936 to Raymond and Ollie Burlison in Benton.

Delivered Hamm's Beer for 28 years, worked for Consumers Liquors for 30 years, served as an Elwood volunteer fireman for 21 years, and served as Jackson Township Trustee for 24 years.

Charter member and treasurer of the Elwood Lions Club until it disbanded; was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan who attended multiple World Series games and the 2009 All-Star game.

Survived by his wife Judy, two children (Cynthia and Jeffrey), five grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; was preceded in death by his parents, seven sisters, and three brothers.

The Illinois Senate expresses condolences to the family and requests a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to them.
