Jones was born September 26, 1975, worked for the Village of Maryville for over 14 years, and was elected to the Madison County Board for District 27 in 2016, serving as chairman of the Facilities Management and Sewer Facilities Committees

Served as vice chairperson of the Madison County Republican Party, was a member and past president of the Maryville Kiwanis, and was active in the Masonic Lodge and Cub Scouts

Survived by his wife Heather, three children (Merin Gibson, Luke Jones, and Maddox Jones), parents, brother, and extended family

Directs presentation of a suitable copy of the resolution to Jones's family as an expression of condolences
