Pianezza was born February 8, 1947, graduated from Griffin High School, served in the U.S. Air Force, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Management from the University of Illinois in Springfield

Co-owned Roma bakery with his father and brother for over 30 years, serving central Illinois with Italian bread

Survived by his sons Patrick and Paul Pianezza, grandson Kitt, and brother Louie Pianezza

Senate extends condolences to Pianezza's family and directs a copy of the resolution be presented to them
