Honors Duane A. "Butch" Mathis of Beach Park, who passed away on February 27, 2020.

Mathis was born April 11, 1941, in Waukegan to Wayne and Vivian Allen Mathis and worked at Abbott Labs for 37 years before retiring in 1996.

Was a 54-year lifetime member of the Zion Moose Lodge and enjoyed cribbage, country music, garage work, and traveling to Wisconsin.

Survived by two sons Kenneth and Scott, first wife Mary Johnson, second wife's children, sister Karen Miller, and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Illinois Senate extends sincere condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones, with a copy of the resolution to be presented to his family.
