Frank L. Urbanik of Wadsworth passed away on April 18, 2020, and was born July 4, 1931, to Joseph and Sophia Urbanik in North Chicago.

Served as a US Army Private First Class (Marksmen) during the Korean War stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska, and graduated from Waukegan High School in 1949.

Worked as a switchman for the EJ&E railroad and electrician for US Steel Wiremill before spending over 45 years as a master electrician, retiring from both US Steel and the Department of Defense.

Was an accomplished baseball player recruited for tryouts by the Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs, and later competed in semi-pro ball, softball, golf, and other sports throughout his life.

Survived by his wife Rosemary of 65 years, three children, eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren; was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus and active in multiple Catholic parishes.
