Honors the memory of Samuel "Sam" Marcusson, who died on July 19, 2020, extending condolences to his family and loved ones.

Recognizes Marcusson's lifelong commitment to charitable work, including helping resettle Vietnamese refugees in the 1970s, volunteering at homeless shelters in Aurora during the 1980s, and co-founding the Lazarus House homeless shelter in St. Charles in 1997.

Celebrates his dedication to family, including his marriage to Darlene on April 22, 1967, his two daughters Nicole (born 1972) and Bethany (born 1976), and his grandsons Samuel Marcus (born 2002) and Micah Marcus (born 2003).

Notes his work with the St. Charles street department and service as an on-call firefighter assigned to the aerial ladder truck.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to Marcusson's family as an expression of sympathy.
