Commemorates the death of Murel Peterson of Moline, who passed away on July 30, 2020.

Peterson was born September 26, 1928, served in the U.S. Army in Korea, and retired as Sergeant 1st Class from the U.S. National Guard in 1972.

Worked at John Deere Plow Planter from December 17, 1947, until his retirement on September 30, 1987.

Was a member of Victory Baptist Church in East Moline for over 40 years and was known for attending family sporting events.

Survived by his children Donna Peterson and M. Keith Peterson; grandchildren Kyle, Holly, and Zachary Peterson; and sister Irene Peterson.
