Honors the death of Louis Ray "Lou" Henson, who passed away on July 25, 2020, at age 88.

Recognizes Henson's coaching career at Las Cruces High School (three state championships), Hardin-Simmons University, New Mexico State University (Final Four in 1970), and University of Illinois (Final Four in 1989).

Notes Henson retired from University of Illinois in 1996 with 423 wins in 21 seasons as the school's all-time winningest coach and was inducted into the NCAA Basketball Hall of Fame on February 17, 2015.

Documents Henson's battle with stage 4 cancer diagnosed in 2003 and subsequent viral encephalitis that caused paralysis but did not diminish his character and determination.
