Jack R. Milbourn passed away on August 23, 2020, and the Illinois Senate mourns his passing.

Milbourn was born October 24, 1936, near Marshall and founded the Illini Brace and Limb Company in Springfield in 1969, serving thousands of orthotic patients and receiving two patents for orthopedic devices.

He served as a medic in the Army National Guard, earned his pilot's license, and was active in Calvary Church and Restoration Church.

Milbourn is survived by his wife Janet, two sons, a stepson, a stepdaughter, and grandchildren.

The Senate extends sincere condolences to his family and friends and will present a copy of this resolution to his family.
