Illinois Senate memorializes Douglas "Doug" R. Peden of Bloomington, who died on September 6, 2020.

Peden was born January 11, 1947, graduated from Bloomington High School, and served in the U.S. Army.

Worked as a truck driver for Conway Trucking for 23 years and enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, and spending time with family.

Survived by his mother, five children, one brother, one sister, 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two nieces and nephews.

Senate extends condolences to Peden's family and friends and directs a copy of the resolution be presented to his family.
