Michael "MAB" Buckley of Bloomington passed away on September 8, 2020, and the Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his family and friends.

Born April 30, 1944 in Normal, Buckley graduated from Western Military Academy in Alton and attended the University of Arkansas.

Worked in sales at Buckley Advertising Company in Normal before becoming owner and president, later establishing a successful insurance career in Florida.

Known for his accomplishments as a record-breaking swimmer and pool player, as well as his witty humor and storytelling.

Survived by three children (Lisa, Tina, and Tyler), four grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews; a suitable copy of the resolution will be presented to his family.
