Charles Dismer Jr. of Rock Island, Illinois passed away on September 14, 2020.

Born July 9, 1925 in Davenport, Iowa; served in the U.S. Army during WWII; married Helen A. Albrecht on July 19, 1947.

Worked as a printer and office manager at Modern Woodmen of America, with part-time employment at Sears and Borden's Dairy; was active in his church.

Survived by his wife Helen, three children (Ruth Anne, Gretchen, and Paul), seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

The Illinois Senate extends condolences to his family and friends, and directs presentation of a suitable copy of this resolution to the Dismer family.
