Kenneth J. Giseburt of Moline passed away on September 18, 2020, and the Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his family and loved ones.

Giseburt was born August 20, 1933, in Champaign; served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the 1950s; and earned a bachelor's degree from Illinois State University and a master's degree in education from the University of Illinois.

Giseburt married Johanna E. Seeliger on January 31, 1959, and worked over 20 years at Holland Motor Express in Rock Island before retiring in the early 1990s.

Giseburt is survived by his wife, son James, granddaughter Amanda Carleton, and great-grandchild Ellis.

The Illinois Senate directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to the Giseburt family as an expression of sympathy.
