John P. Adamski of East Moline passed away on November 23, 2020; he was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on November 18, 1932, to Frank and Philomena (Wanta) Adamski.

Served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War and married Patricia Rosinski in Milwaukee on February 11, 1956.

Worked as a landscape architect for the U.S. Forest Service and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at the Rock Island Arsenal Clock Tower until retirement, and later worked as a courtesy driver at Green Chevrolet until 2016.

Survived by his children Joan (Glenn) Baker and Jennifer Adamski; granddaughters Ashley (Dan) Griswold and Brooke (Ben) Harrison; and great-grandsons Drake, Ryland, Daxson Griswold and Carter and Beckham Harrison.

The Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his family and friends and directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Adamski family.
