Michael "Mike" Baumbach of Moline passed away on November 17, 2020; he was born September 9, 1949, to Dale and Dorothy (Allen) Baumbach in Rock Island.

Served 12 years in the U.S. Army, serving as a tank commander with the 11th Armored Cavalry, and worked at Rock Island Arsenal for 30 years before retiring in 2011.

Was a VFW life member known by the nickname "Bomber" who enjoyed riding his Harley, spending time with family and friends, and was remembered for his generous nature.

Preceded in death by his daughter Katina, granddaughter Heaven Leigh Fulton, parents, brother Steve, and dog Bailey.

Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his surviving wife Cyndi, daughter Wendy West, grandchildren Sean and Elizabeth, brothers Barry and Kenny, and extended family.
