John F. Collins passed away on December 2, 2019; he was born January 9, 1924, in Dayton, Ohio.

Earned a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois and a master's degree in Engineering Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1943 to 1945 and was held as a prisoner of war in Germany.

Was president of J.F. Collins Associates, a human resource consulting firm, and was a member of the Flossmoor Community Church.
