Illinois Senate resolution mourning the death of Laverne Katherine Tomaso, who died on August 13, 2020 at age 84.

Laverne Tomaso was born June 5, 1936 and was a longtime resident of Oak Park.

She was a 50-year-plus dedicated member of Saint Giles Family Mass Community and enjoyed music, babies, gardens, and chocolate.

She is survived by four children (Rick, Carla, Jon, and Suzy), three siblings, and nine grandchildren; preceded in death by her husband Richard and daughter Katherine.

Senate extends condolences to her family and friends, with a suitable copy of the resolution to be presented to her family.
