Mourns the deaths of Thomas Francis "Tom" Connelly, Ph.D. (died December 3, 2020) and Ann Louise (Duffy) Connelly (died November 7, 2020), who were married for 61 years.

Tom Connelly earned a bachelor's degree in Classical Studies from Loyola University Chicago, a master's degree in Classics from the University of Kentucky, and a Ph.D. in Education Administration from Loyola University Chicago; he served in the U.S. Navy Submarine Force and worked his entire career for Chicago Public Schools as a Latin teacher and administrator.

Ann Connelly graduated from St. Xavier University and worked as a registered nurse and school nurse for Chicago Public Schools.

Tom and Ann Connelly were parents of seven children, grandparents of 23 grandchildren, and great-grandparents of three great-grandchildren; they were deeply committed to their faith and enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Directs the Illinois Senate to extend condolences to the Connelly family and present a copy of the resolution to them.
