Jack Wesley Knott of St. Joseph passed away on June 13, 2020, and was born on June 18, 1940 to Hiram Wesley Knott Jr. and Marian Louise Wood Knott.

Served in the Illinois National Guard from 1963 to 1969 as a staff sergeant in the 1144th Transportation Battalion and worked as a computing supervisor at the University of Illinois from 1963 to 1997.

Was actively involved in the St. Joseph community, serving on the Civil Defense, Lions Club, Township Library Board, and Cemetery Association Board, and was co-chairman of the 1972 St. Joseph Centennial.

Performed as an accomplished singer at hundreds of weddings, funerals, and nursing homes, and was known for his care of family members and involvement in his grandchildren's activities.

Survived by his wife Barbara, sons Gregory John Knott and Kevin Wesley Knott, grandchildren Riley and Hayden, and numerous cousins.
