Department of Financial and Professional Regulation must compile and publish a disparity study by December 31, 2022 evaluating whether discrimination exists in Illinois's beauty supply industry.

Study must assess the impact of any identified discrimination on the State and include recommendations for reducing or eliminating barriers to entry and discriminatory behavior in the beauty supply industry.

Department must submit findings and recommendations to the Governor and General Assembly, and publish the report on its website.

Department is authorized to compile, collect, and gather data necessary to conduct the study and develop policy recommendations.

This provision automatically repeals on December 31, 2023.
