IL HB0022

Amends the Public Officer Prohibited Activities Act by adding Section 4.1 regarding non-disclosure agreements.

Prohibits officers, employees, or agents of local government units from using non-disclosure agreements to withhold public disclosure of information about tax incentives and other financial incentives.

Defines "tax incentive" as any tax incentive authorized by law that reduces tax revenues through exemptions, exclusions, deductions, allowances, credits, preferential rates, abatements, or similar devices.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
