Excludes child support arrearages from the definition of "consumer debt" in the Code of Civil Procedure.

Excludes judgments entered for child support arrearages from the definition of "consumer debt judgment."

Applies to all consumer debt judgments entered after the effective date of the amendatory act of the 101st General Assembly.

Maintains existing provisions that consumer debt judgments of $25,000 or less draw interest at 5% per annum, while other judgments draw interest at 9% per annum.
