Creates the Eating Disorder Treatment Parity Task Force within the Department of Insurance to review reimbursement rates for eating disorder treatment providers in Illinois and out-of-state providers.

Task Force comprised of 12 members: two eating disorder treatment experts appointed by the Governor, two consumers with eating disorder experience appointed by the Governor, and eight members of the General Assembly appointed by legislative leadership.

Task Force shall review insurance plans covering eating disorders, compare reimbursement rates between Illinois-based and out-of-state providers, and provide recommendations for rules regarding complaints, access to treatment, and enforcement mechanisms.

Task Force findings and recommendations must be submitted to the Director of Insurance, Governor, and General Assembly by December 31, 2021, and made available on the Department's website.

Section automatically repeals on January 1, 2023; takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
