Amends the Governor Transition Act (15 ILCS 10/1) with a technical change to Section 1 concerning the orderly transition of the Governor's office.

Removes one instance of the word "the" before "office of Governor" in the opening clause of Section 1 as a grammatical correction.

Requires the incumbent Governor to provide office space for up to 5 persons designated by the Governor-elect within 2 weeks after a general election in which the incumbent is not re-elected.

Mandates the Governor-elect's designated staff have access to review current biennium budgeted expenditures, budget requests for the ensuing biennium, and acquire knowledge of executive branch offices, departments, commissions, boards, and agencies.

Requires the incumbent Governor to cooperate with the Governor-elect and provide any reasonably requested assistance during the transition period.
