Amends the Illinois Minimum Wage Law to require employers to pay essential workers a minimum of $20 per hour for the duration of the COVID-19 public health emergency.

Defines essential workers as those outlined in Executive Order No. 2020-10 issued on March 20, 2020.

Maintains existing minimum wage schedules for non-essential workers, with the general adult minimum wage reaching $15 per hour on January 1, 2025.

Applies effective immediately upon passage of the bill.

May trigger fiscal impact and state mandate reimbursement requirements under Illinois law.
