Changes the residency timeline for dependents of United States military personnel from 60 days to 6 months when enrolled in temporary housing outside the school district.

Allows military dependents to enroll tuition-free if they will be living within the district within 6 months of initial enrollment, with proof of residency required.

Accepts multiple forms of proof of residency including postmarked mail, lease agreements, or proof of property ownership located within the school district.

Permits nonresident military dependents attending tuition-free to be counted for state aid apportionment under Sections 18-8.05 or 18-8.15 of the School Code.

Applies the same 6-month residency timeline change to both Section 10-22.5a and Section 34-18.30 of the Illinois School Code.
